Girls Got Kicks: Behind the Scenes – Melbourne

Over the weekend I began taking photos for the GIRLS GOT KICKS project.

I got to meet some amazing ladies during the course of the weekend. It was really inspiring to see such diversity amongst all the girls who came down to have their photos taken. Tall, skinny, curvy, tiny – everyone was so different. It really goes to show that it doesn’t matter what you look like – if you’re happy within yourself, it shows. And boy did it show. I think my favourite photos of the shoots are definitely the ones where peeps are laughing. It’s like you really get to see what someone is like when they laugh on camera.

I don’t want to give too much away yet, because I’m still on a mission to tackle Sydney and beyond. But if the photos below aren’t enough to satisfy, check out more flicks over at Female Sneaker Fiends. And, on that note, I’d like to say a big thank you to Lori and Amanda for letting me be part of this amazing project.

I’d also like to give a big shout out to Mafia and the Sneaker Freaker crew for putting on such a rad spread yesterday; Etoile (from Beebop Arts), Rosie and Amanda for coming down and giving me a hand; Amy for taking rad behind the scenes shots; and all the amazing peeps who came down and had their photo taken! You guys rocked!
